We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity and experience in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our products and services. You will play a key role in creating compelling content, supporting digital marketing campaigns, and ensuring our brand presence reaches the right audience.
Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content (blog posts, white papers, case studies, infographics, social media posts, email campaigns) focused on cybersecurity topics to educate and attract potential clients.
Digital Marketing: Assist in managing digital marketing campaigns across various channels (email, social media, SEO) to drive leads and increase brand awareness.
Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target markets to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaigns.
SEO & Website Optimization: Support SEO efforts to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the website. Ensure the website’s content and design align with SEO best practices.
Social Media Management: Manage and grow the company’s social media presence (specifically Reddit and LinkedIn) by curating relevant content and interacting with followers to build community engagement.
Product Marketing: Create and execute go-to-market strategies for a custom cybersecurity product, ensuring product messaging aligns with customer needs and market trends.
Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and optimize future initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, social media and email marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor content for technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of cybersecurity trends and challenges is a plus, but not required.
Canva experience a plus.
Compensation: $20/hour
Hours: Part-time, 10-15 hours/week
